Biography:

Mzei kayondo John billy was born on the 10th October 1937 Lira Kiduuka and 22 children. He has been survived by 20 children.

Education and Career:

He grew up and studied in Lira technical, where he later enrolled at kyambogo polytechnic Institute he also studied and worked in Japan. On 1st January 1960 he was appointed as a technical teacher at Lira technical school. He was later on the 16th august 1961 transfered to the technical teacher training sections in Soroti.

On the 1st January 1965 he was appointed assistant inspector of schools where he worked until his retirement in 1993. In 1993, he worked with project implementation unit under ministry of education as senior transporting officer. In 1997, he was appointed to work with kinyara sugar works up to July 1999 and from that time to date he has been pensioner and earning from his various businesses that is to say real estates and transportation.

Mzee Kayondo has been a man of humility, immense and impecable integrity, with an exemplary character, loved, respected and admired by many. He exemplified extra ordinary leadership qualities. Friends and colleagues all agree that he was never mean and reserved to give any one advise and assistance whenever it arose. He genuinely was a father not only to his children but a father to every one who met him and shared warm interactions with him. Above all, he always had his arms open for every one to run to and always there when you needed him.

There was only one of a kind like you for us all.
